Our Story

We saw how it was being done.

We knew it could be done better.

ABP was founded in December 2020 in Colombo, Sri Lanka by Ushan Nadarajah and Charith Pussadeniya – both with years inside financial services firms across the UK, Australia, and NZ. They understood the operational pressures from the inside.

Most practices weren’t failing because of bad advice. They were failing operationally. The structure underneath was never built properly. ABP was built to fix that.

Dec 2020

Founded during COVID-19 – when the need for resilient, offshore-capable delivery was most apparent.

Profit margin improvement for a boutique AU financial planning practice. Same adviser. Same clients. Different structure.

Aus • NZ • UK • US

Four markets served across financial planning, wealth management, accounting, and mortgage broking.

I’ve spent over a decade in financial services across three markets. The same problem kept showing up – good advisers, good practices, completely stuck because the operational structure underneath was never built right. That’s why ABP exists. Not to give you cheaper staff. To help you build a better business.”

— Ushan Nadarajah, Managing Director & Co-Founder

“I’ve always believed that if you get the people right, everything else follows. We don’t just hire for skills – we hire for character. Someone who takes pride in their work, who cares whether the output is good. That’s harder to find than a qualification. But when you find it, you build something that lasts.”

— Charith Pussadeniya, Executive Director & Co-Founder
